    Fond du Lac

After many years of training and encouragement the Green Valley Dog Drivers are starting the season with a force to be reckoned with.

The Dream Team or Speed Team will be driven my our founder and voted most polite

Sally Streeper, at lead, Bandit Sanders, at point, and wheeled up by Blue and Chocolate Sanders.  They have been working towards this event for some time now only to be put together as a team during our qualifying training session last weekend.   Speed and endurance is the mantra for this rooky team.

The Dream Team will pull one of the finest rigs made for the Dirty Dog Dryland circuit, the CANNbombNBALL CANINE SPORTS 3 WHEEL RACER.

Everyone who has test driven this fabulous 3 wheeled rig has expressed an exhilarating feeling of flying through the wind effortlessly, quietly, faster, and smoother than anything they have ever driven a dog team with. "IF" we get the snow we can’t depend on, then they will be pulling a Hall’s McCrumb special.

The second team or commonly known as “The Z Team” has been touring the county side and gathering recognition as the Mascot for our closest and most gracious  high school. Naperville  North Huskies

They will be driven by their human Mike Rawaillo.  Mike and Deb Rallaillo have been an intricate part of our groups success in the past years.  They have way to many aides to list but one very important one is their part they play in the Adopt a Husky program.

"The Z Team" is made up of Xena, Zorro, Zak and the newest member of the team, Zephyr. Zak and Zephyr run lead, setting the pace for the team, while Zorro and Xena run in the wheel position.

Team 3 is driven by a woman who needs no real introduction other than our

most influential driver.  Annie, the  Dog Driving Granny.

Annie will take any dog, and we mean any willing dog and turn it into a sled dog.

They may not place in the top 3 for speed and endurance but they will all arrive safely in tack, and with much fanfare. They will stand out as the most eye catching team.  Watch for the brightest contrasting colors and mixed breads of sled dogs, I guarantee you will be happier for it. Holly Z., labradotle , Sunshine H. , a real bright Siberian Husky cutie with lineage  to the Iditarod , Thunder, an all white Siberian Husky. And the oldest and most spoilt  member of the Green Valley Dog Drivers,   Kodiak Killer Green.

The 4th Team to our   cause will be driven by our webmaster and fellow driver Steve Mann.

Steve Mann will drive a team lead by mixed newbie’s, Steve’s best friend Devin, and a new rescue Beloit Bader. Muscle Powered by two of our seasoned  veterans, Blizzard McNeely, and Czar Green.

The 5th  team will be driven by on of our most loyal members Dave Sanders.

Dave's team will consist of Sally Streeper at lead Cormack at wheel and the rest is undecided until race day

Anyone who wishes to carpool or caravan with Carey,Mike,Mary,Jerriann,or Annie we will be meeting at the Thorntons / McDonnalds 63 rd and I355 @ 4:am and Leaving @ 4:30am sharp.

Adopt Me! Brought to you by: Adopt - A - Husky Inc.

Tomah

I know what you are thinking.  You said “Demon!” the moment you saw my picture, right? I know I look a lot like that superstar dog from that movie Snowdogs, but I am nothing like him, I swear.  Well, I mean, I like to goof off and jump all over you like he did and stuff.  And I bet I would be an awesome lead sled dog.  Yep, sure think I would do well there.  And I guess I don’t really listen to the humans as much as I should and I like to chew up stuff.  But other than that, I am nothing like him.  Nope, nothing at all.

Brie

Meet Brie, a gorgeous girl who is what we call a saddleback.  Almost all white, Brie has lovely black markings on her back that resemble a saddle. Brie was given up because the family just were not prepared for an active Siberian.  Brie is going to be 7 in November and while she is a polite girl with lots of manners, she is still plenty active.  She would love to go jogging with you or play in the backyard.  She is mature enough to sit and watch a movie with you on the couch, but still likes to go out hiking any chance she can get.  Brie also enjoyed her food a bit too much in her previous home and is looking to lose a few pounds.

Lyndon

Lyndon is a very soft-hearted, sweet and loving dog. He truly has a heart of gold. Lyndon is a very energetic 9 year old and needs a lot of exercise, though he is perfectly happy laying about your feet when it is time to relax. He likes a lot of attention and is most happy laying right by your side or giving kisses. He is great with baths, nail clipping, loves car rides, and going for walks. Lyndon will not do well with other small animals or small pets-inside or out.  He has learned some basic commands and is eager to please. Lyndon is quite a gem!

Flicka

Flicka is just a doll.  All she wants to do is climb in your lap and get hugs and pets.  She is a real people person type dog, wanting to interact with her humans.  But she is not clingy.  She will happily go off exploring and then come running back to you for some attention.

Kenton

This is an incredibly powerful young dog that has had absolutely no training as far as we can tell. He is very sweet, loves people, has a happy smile on his face all the time. He was a perfect gentleman when bathed! Kenton will require an owner with some physical strength to control him, and obedience training will be part of the adoption contract. Small children would be at risk simply because Kenton has no idea of how to control that big body -- they'd end up flattened with his bouncing around. His adoptive family should not have any small critters around, whether it be gerbils, guinea pigs, or the like; Kenton definitely is not friendly toward them.

Kodak

Kodak is a laid-back, happy boy who never stops wagging his tail. He loves to give big kisses and really enjoys his belly rubs. He loves to play and is always ready to go for a walk. Kodak will make you laugh. In typical Siberian style, he can be quite mischievous -- taking socks, throw pillows, old dryer sheets, or anything else he finds laying around that looks like it might be fun to play with. He is easily bored and can be destructive if left alone and unmonitored for more than a few minutes. Kodak is also a fence-climber, so a secondary means of containment is REQUIRED even if you have a fence, no matter what height. A formal obedience training program is highly recommended.

Drift

Drift is a very nice boy. His downfall is his strength and any door left ajar. He rushes his kennel door as it is opened. With that said, he is very loving and would do very well in an obedience class. Drift came in as heartworm positive, very early stages and will be required to be on Heartguard Plus once a month for approximately 8 months (possibly be longer). He would love to have a couch to lay on and someone to pet him all day long.

Twinkle

Meet Twinkle, whose boundless enthusiasm for life is only matched by her sweet personality. Twinks is a happy girl who always has a tail wag for any human she sees. Twinkle is a very athletic dog who would excel in a home that would take her running, bikejoring or carting. She is very graceful, and would probablly love to do agility or rally with you. She is lightening quick and needs someone active to keep up with her. Twinks needs a job to do, but once she gets her energy expended, she will happily cuddle up with you for husky kisses.
